I love the amazing school projects our teachers come up with! Cabot’s third grade teacher has kids creating businesses, learning about supply & demand, ROI, etc. The kids have to present business plans to the bank (the teacher) and see if they are eligible for business loans. Their final grade is based in part on their ability to pay back their loan. AMAZING project! I know college grads with less knowledge in this area than these kids are learning…
His group’s business is LemiGami — it’s a lemonade & origami store — and he’s working on some marketing flyers. See what he did there: paper airplane drinking lemonade, origami penguins and boomerangs as pilots and letters? Working their products into his design all on his own. (=
He still needs to add their slogan, but the “bank” told his group they needed a better one before they got their loan -so more brainstorming at school today. (=
At my "for pay" job I'm a Marketing Manager in the Yearbook industry - it's pretty fun as far as jobs go. But, what I REALLY like to do is spend time with my adorable boys - cooking, painting, creating, and making a mess. We thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite things on this blog.
